Cyanotype Workshops
I have extensive experience of delivering cyanotype workshops with all ages. Clients include schools, galleries, universities, charities and science festivals. This photographic process, developed in the 1840s, predates the invention of the camera and involves placing objects onto paper coated with light-sensitive iron salts. I make use of sunlight or in case of bad weather, UV lights, to create these stunning white and blue images. In addition to making satisfying art work, for groups who are interested, I also delve into the history and science of the process.
