Alternative Photography Residency at Cove Park, Argyll & Bute
My residency began with a day at the local primary school, working with children with a variety of additional support needs. We experimented with the medium of cyanotype, as a way of learning about art and science, in a supportive, fun way.
The remainder of the week was mine to use as I wished. I chose to use the time to further my own personal experiments in alternative photography techniques. I relished the opportunity to spend time playing and learning, without any expected outcome. My time was spent exploring cyanotype toning with common household ingredients and lumen printing, using vintage expired photographic papers.
