100 Days of cyanotypes

100 Days Of Cyanotypes

Cyanotype, an early photographic technique dating from the 1840s, has been a significant part of my artistic practice for many years. At the onset of the Covid lockdowns, I set myself a challenge to create one cyanotype every day, for 100 consecutive days. This allowed me to experiment extensively and really push the boundaries of the process.

As the project progressed, I faced the increasing challenge of finding new ways to experiment with the technique. I explored a wide range of papers and fabrics, introduced colour variations, and experimented with toning the finished prints.
