SmArt Thinking Schools
Fruitmarket Gallery, Edinburgh
SmART Thinking is an innovative education programme dedicated to bridging the attainment gap in schools, through arts and creative learning, supporting children and young people to fulfil their potential.
I was asked to design and deliver a project which brought together my skills in ceramics and light. We used Fruitmarket’s exhibition by artist Emma Hart as our inspiration.
The project involved gallery workshops, in-school making workshops and curating an exhibition showcasing the young artists' creations. We celebrated their achievements with another trip to the gallery, to see their work exhibited to the public, in a prestigious gallery.
